WIMP Dark Matter at the ILC
If WIMP pairs annihilate into e+e- pairs, even if it is a small fraction of all annihilations, the reverse process is also possible. Since the WIMPs themselves escape undetected from collider detectors, a photon from initial state radiation can be used to catch these otherwise invisible events. The energy spectrum of these photons gives access to many WIMP properties like mass and couplings and to the type of interaction.
